- 4th Lotus Belle tent – use as a complimentary chill-out zone OR additional accommodation (guests bring own inflatable beds & sleeping bags)

Catering By Our Resident Chef
Simon is a trained chef and we hold a restaurant license, so we can take care of all your meals and drinks if you’d like:
- Breakfast buffets or hampers delivered to your tents
- Lunchtime picnics
- Campfire hotpots (chili, beef bourguignon, ratatouille)
- BBQs
- Buffets or sit-down meals
- Wine, beer and cocktails
- Cream Teas
Of course, you’re also welcome to self-cater using your summer kitchens and campfires.

Exclusive Hire Frequently Asked Questions
While children are welcome for exclusive hire family celebrations, please note:
- La Prairie Étoilée is designed as an adults-only retreat, so we don’t have child-specific amenities (changing stations, play equipment, etc.)
- Guests need to bring their own travel cots, airbeds, sleeping bags, and children’s bedding
- Children must be particularly supervised at campfires and the pool
- There’s plenty of space with a large separate field perfect for ball games and outdoor play and screen free activities
Yes! Groups often have people traveling from different places. We’re flexible.
No sorry. Although we love dogs, the accommodation and wild flower meadow are not suitable for dogs. We have a no pet policy.
We’re an exclusive site of just 3 glamping tents each sleeping up to 2 people (although travel cots and air beds can be added for children as part of exclusive hire). We have an additional lotus belle tent that can be used for additional accommodation or as a group chill out group space. You can also bring two of your own tents.
The three main glamping tents are pitched on a wooden platform and inside are natural coir carpets, so they are both firm and comfortable underfoot. The additional lotus belle tent is pitched directly onto grass.
The wildflower meadow where the tents are possitioned is not accesible by car. Allocated parking is provided in the car park but don’t worry, help is available with your luggage! And this also means there’s no noise from car doors and boots shutting.
Large fluffy bath sheets, hand towels and pool towels are provided per stay for the glamping accommodation. Bring towels for additional guests and children – or you can hire them from us.
You don’t need to bring bedding or towels for those glamping but do bring airbeds and bedding for the additional guests and children including tents etc for those camping- There are plates, bowls, cups, glasses and cutlery for 12. As well as sun loungers and parasols, seats and tables. Almost everything you need is here waiting for you; even the kitchen sink – check out the inventory here to see what else is included included!

The only legally recognised marriages in France are Civil ceremonies. To get married in France you don’t need to be resident but French law requires at least one of the couple to have a “long lasting bond” with the town or local area where the civil ceremony will take place. This can be if at least one of you or a parent lives, rents or owns a property (including a holiday home). If you don’t have this connection then have a civil wedding in your home country and a symbolic one in France which can be held anywhere – including La Prairie Étoilée.
